Author and blogger Bena Shklyanoy is a wise and witty story teller, with deep insights into the impact of government and history and how they shape, influence and drive personal decisions that last for generations.
Bena has done talks about how she researched her family roots and wrote her family story and discovered new cousins. She shares stories about the sometimes overwhelming but always bewildering experience of facing the new culture. Her story of emigration from the Soviet Union to the US and adapting to a new culture resonates with immigrants today.
